Tanya Fletcher updates on her art career such as paintings, commissions, exhibits etc.

New Work

I've been trying a new medium, charcoal on mylar.  These are small works, 8"x8" framed under textured colored glass.

"On the Map" Juried Exhibition at 3SArt Space.

My piece, "Blue Shoulder's I" was mentioned in the juror's statement by Christoper French, juror of the "On the Map" exhibition: "Among the many accomplished submissions, I was most impressed by Tanya Fletcher's detailed, almost hyper-precise figure studies."

New Blue Series

I'm working on a new "water" themed series.  The pieces are oil, silver leaf on birch panel.  What's new is that I'm framing the paintings under textured, colored glass.  So far, I love the results!
