I've been trying a new medium, charcoal on mylar. These are small works, 8"x8" framed under textured colored glass.

31st Annual Omer T. Lassonde Juried Exhibition
Honored to have been included in this years NHAA juried show, "Live Free or Die: Art is Expression". Gordon Dearborn Wilkins, the assistant curator for exhibitions & research @ the Peabody Essex Museum was the juror. Exhibition dates are April 5th ~ April 29th.

My piece, "Blue Shoulder's I" was mentioned in the juror's statement by Christoper French, juror of the "On the Map" exhibition: "Among the many accomplished submissions, I was most impressed by Tanya Fletcher's detailed, almost hyper-precise figure studies."
New Blue Series
I'm working on a new "water" themed series. The pieces are oil, silver leaf on birch panel. What's new is that I'm framing the paintings under textured, colored glass. So far, I love the results!
